A Painting in a Day

with Diane Summer

  

We take a day to explore the process of painting, from preparation to product.

 Overcome the anxiety of staring at a blank canvas and enjoy 

creating an art piece that is truly your own.

 Sunday 30th September

10am -4pm 

Cost : £45

A yummy morning and afternoon tea/coffee and lunch are also included.

You will need:

Sketch book and 4B-6B pencil

A canvas or canvas board ( any size you like) though big ones are easiest!! Acrylic paints and some brushes,

a portable easel (table or floor)if you have one,

newspaper, a penny or old shirt, large jam jar for water

Diane tutors a group at Old School Gallery each Tuesday morning. 

This Sunday workshop can introduce you to that group or simply stand alone.

As part of The MacMillan’s ‘World’s Greatest

Coffee morning’ Josh Attwood, who has recently achieved

his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, will be hosting a fund raising 

Coffee Morning for Macmillan 10am-12.30pm at the Gallery.

All cake will have been donated by the Gallery and friends and all

donations for tea or coffee and cake will go to MacMillan Cancer Support.
